The new layout of the critical sector Futog and updated ENC cell of the Danube River are available on the website of the Directorate for Inland Waterways. In May 2019, the Directorate for Inland Waterways has conducted an additional hydrographic survey of the critical sector Futog (km 1,267.4 – km 1,261.6) on the Danube River. The new layout of the critical sector Futog, including available depths with reference to the low navigational level, can be downloaded from the internet presentation of Plovput, in PDF format. The fairway has been changed along the whole critical sector and the marking system has been adjusted. Therefore, this sector, for years the most critical for navigation on the Danube in Serbia, has been recording positive changes enabling the widening of the fairway from 80 m to 120 m. Beside the new layout, the Directorate for Inland Waterways has prepared and published the new cell of Electronic Navigational Chart of the Danube River containing the stretch of the critical sector Futog, in Inland ECDIS standard 2.3. The new cell of Electronic Navigational Chart contains data on available waterway depths at this sector, based on the latest results of hydrographic survey conducted in May 2019 and with reference to the low navigational level, the relocated position of the fairway and up-to-date system of waterway marking, as well as the data on available depths within the winter shelter Novi Sad, accordingly to the latest hydrographic survey of this winter shelter). The updated cell is available at: www.plovput.rs/electronic-navigational-charts. For dynamic data on the available depths of the fairway on the critical sectors, please visit the Navigational Bulletin, a service for providing current dynamic information on waterways in the Republic of Serbia where international and interstate navigation regimes apply (the Danube, Sava and Tisa Rivers). This service is available in Serbian, English, German and French (www.plovput.rs/navigational-bulletin). Keywords: Related news: |
