The Directorate for Inland Waterways has published a new edition of the Atlas of Berths in June 2019 - for the Danube, Sava and Tisa rivers. In this edition of the Atlas relevant information about the berths in the Republic of Serbia for all three rivers was joint and published, which wasn’t a practice within the previous editions.

Atlas of Berths

A berth is represented by a specially marked part of the inland waterway or port, where a vessel can safel stop and maneuvering of vessels can be carried out. Berths enable vessels a stay outside the fairway and constitute, therefore, an important infrastructure element of a waterway.

Atlas of Berths at hand comprises an overview of the available public berths for cargo and passenger vessels, basic information, such as the location (river-km and river bank), length, main marking signs, width of the berthing area on the water, maximum time allowed for berthing, river bank construction, as well as additional information along the international rivers Danube (km 1433+100 to km 8450+500), Sava (km 210+800 to km 0+000) and Tisza (km 164+000 to km 0+000) in the Republic of Serbia.

The Atlas of Berths is publicly available for users of international waterways of the Republic of Serbia.
