In the first six months of 2016, the identical volume of transport, compared to the same period in 2015, was recorded.





Total volume of inland waterway transport in Republic of Serbian achived in the first six months of 2016 amounted 5.7 million tons.

In the second quarter, growth of 28% in transport volume was reached compared to the first quarter of 2016.

Balanced structure of water transport was kept (domestic, export, import and transit). In structure of water transport, in comparison with the same period of 2015, growth in domestic volume transport and import was noted, where on the other hand decline of transit and export was observed.

From total water transport in the first six months of 2016, 90% was achived on Danube, 7% on Sava and 3% on other waterways.
