New situational plan for critical sector Futog is available on the internet presentation of Plovput. Fairway is dislocated and narrowed

Futog

Directorate for Inland Waterways conducted hydrographic survey of critical sectors on the Danube River. Based on latest results of hydrographic survey, dislocation and narrowing of the fairway was performed on critical sector Futog on the Danube River, in accordance wih available depths.

New situational plan for critical sector Futog (km 1.267-1.261), showing available depths compared to the low navigational level, can be downloaded from Navigational Bulletin page, in PDF.

Directorate for Inland Waterways published new cell of Electronic Navigational Chart for Danube on section of critical sector Futog. New cell contains up-to-date data on fairway position and available depths of fairway at this sector.

Futog

Sector Futog is still the most critical sector for navigation on Danube in Republic of Serbia. Characteristics of this sector are frequent changes in riverbed morphological and the available dimensions of the fairway (depth and width), causing frequent adjustment of position of the fairway. Directorate for Inland Waterways conducts hydrographic surveys and publication of information on available fairway depths on this sector several times during the year. Directorate for Inland Waterways will continue with publication of information on available depths for other critical sectors on the Danube River in Serbia, as well.
